Re: Life without subscriptions

I read one interesting blog post that was written by Kev Quirk: AMA: Can One Setup Their Digital Life to Be Subscription Free? and also answer from Thinkroot A subscription-free digital life.

Even though I agree on most of what was written there – there is one part I'm don't think that is wise choice.

In music category they recommend Bandcamp which is store/site where you can buy and own music but mostly for independent artists. For example try to find there Taylor Swift's music. You won't find any, unless I'm missing something.

Anyway, Bandcamp in my opinion is not alternative to music streaming companies. An alternative, in my view, should offer comparable quality and a similar library of content.

Bandcamp is a different world, there are different artists, therefore, recommending it as an alternative / direct replacement to music streaming is not wise choice.
