Day 60.2026: Moving DNS to Bunny.net

<![CDATA[I slowly started moving my DNS to bunny DNS provider. Since it is allows me to use DNSSEC I already have some domains with them.

!--more--

I using DNSControl which allows me to manage all domains across all DNS providers at once. An another good thig is I have finally overview above that mess in my DNS zones and can remove unused and forgotten DNS records.

With all above I however not move all the records from Cloudflare as I using their tunnel to expose my home-lab servers to the internet. I have idea to replacing that tunnel using Wireguard but that's another story. 😀

journal
]]>

Day 57.2026: Consolidating email accounts

<![CDATA[Current situation in the world made me even more thinking and urge to move to the European alternatives with my email and consolidate my email provicers.

!--more--

I currently have still active Proton subscription which I lately using as a secure storage and VPN.

In last days I moved most of my domains to the Proton Pass aliases (simplelogin) except few "primary" domains .e.g. surname.tld which I use for critical services. Other domains I'm using for registering on the websites like shops etc.

I tried to use catchall but I'm not feel safe with them (maybe this is in my head).

I also have DuckDuckGo address and Firefox relay which is very good for registering for newsletters and less important sites in order to keep my pseudonym or real name private.

OK, I do not going to remove any of the big-tech email providers but reposting emails to my primary one, to make easier to get all emails without needing to check another email applications.

This not meaning that I'm moving off from big-tech, I'm keep continuing to use their apps for convenience but I'm thinking more which data I will share with them.

#journal #privacy]]>
