The backpack Quest

I thing to find good backpack but it is hard. After 2 days of scrolling trough e-shops in my country I didn't find any that I willing to pay for. After exchanging few messages on Mastodon with Evan and James I'm finally decided (almost) that I go for Subtle & Co backpack. James recommended me something else but it is hard to buy it here and I will need pay import fees so I need to find alternatives.

Online life

I still trying to figure out new house for my blog. Trying to decide whether to go with Static website (e.g. Hugo that I used mostly) or something “more dynamic”. Currently this one is based on Writefreely, I still considering installing Ghost.

I get another domain (I have pretty nice collection now 😊). Most of them there are just because I had good vision of what to do with them, so now they just laying around. Maybe i Have problem 🤷‍♀️.

I added some automation to my workflow. As for example reposting RSS feeds to the mastodon. I used for that solution Echo Classic made by Robb Knight. He also have very good hosted service called EchoFeed. If you don't want to selfhost it by yourself and want more connectors go and check it for sure. He has also some discount on it. I decided to selfhost because some services I want repost from are available only locally or via VPN.

Homelab

I finally managed to move my N8N instance to my homelab and save some money for runnging VPS. Currently it running as LXC container with 1GB ram and 1CPU. It is pretty fast while eating arround 700MB ram.

There is also new Stalwart release with reworked web UI. I tried to upgrade mine but I failed. I hosted previous version for month or two, but just from couriosity, so it does not matter. And i save also some money.

Here are some links i found as interesting reading (already was reposted to my mastodon).
